The Central Bank of Slovenia published an outline of the Slovenian delegation’s participation in the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group Spring Meetings in Washington, D.C., scheduled for 13–18 April, with representatives from Banka Slovenije and the Ministry of Finance led by Governor Primož Dolenc and Minister Klemen Boštjančič. Governor Dolenc is set to attend the International Monetary and Financial Committee meeting, where discussions will cover geopolitical uncertainty, the weak global growth outlook, increased global economic fragmentation, and structural issues linked to digitalization, artificial intelligence, and the climate transition. The programme also includes exchanges with the IMF mission for Slovenia and the IMF’s European Department on Slovenia’s economic situation, the condition of the banking system, and shared European structural challenges, alongside bilateral meetings with IMF representatives; both the Governor and the Minister will be available for media statements.
