The National Bank of Ukraine and Narodowy Bank Polski will hold their 10th Annual Research Conference online on Sept. 21–22, 2026. The event will examine how central banks can maintain institutional resilience and policy credibility, adopt technological innovation and conduct policy amid major and persistent shocks. Research sessions and panel discussions will cover monetary policy under structural stress, financial constraints on policy effectiveness, geopolitical and external shocks, central bank independence, financial market confidence and Ukraine’s potential role in financial innovation. Speakers will include Simon Johnson, the 2024 Nobel laureate in economic sciences and professor at the MIT Sloan School of Management, Oesterreichische Nationalbank Governor Martin Kocher, and representatives of central banks and international institutions.
