The Central Bank of Uruguay hosted secondary and vocational students under Central para Vos, an initiative within its BCUEduca economic and financial education programme. The sessions introduced participants to price stability, inflation, monetary policy and the functioning of the financial system, using everyday money and decision-making scenarios to explain the bank’s mission and the entities it regulates and supervises. Held on 12 and 13 May, the visits formed part of a new phase of BCUEduca focused on improving citizens’ financial wellbeing through economics and finance concepts for daily use. Activities included the workshops "Remate, globos y juego de las decisiones", which covered inflation and monetary policy instruments, and "Vivir en Bancania", which explored the financial system and its participants, followed by a visit to the Numismatic Museum to connect the lessons to the history and evolution of money.
