The Saudi Arabia Insurance Authority will co-host Money20/20 Middle East in Riyadh from Sept. 14 to 16, focusing its participation on the National Insurance Sector Strategy, digital transformation, insurance technology innovation and the risk-based capital framework. The event brings together financial sector regulators, investors, entrepreneurs and specialists. Chief Executive Officer Naji Al-Faisal Al-Tamimi will discuss digital transformation in the Saudi insurance sector and the national strategy’s role in guiding it. The authority will also present the framework linking insurers’ and reinsurers’ capital requirements to the nature and scale of their risks. The framework supports a strategy target to increase risk-based capital from SAR 25 billion to SAR 50 billion by 2030.
