The Central Bank of Slovenia reported on the conclusion in Ljubljana of deputy-level meetings involving the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group, hosted by Vice Governor Tina Žumer alongside the Ministry of Finance. The sessions focused on strengthening cooperation and coordinating positions among member states that work together within joint constituencies at the IMF and the World Bank Group. Senior IMF and World Bank Group representatives met with finance ministry and central bank officials from Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Hungary, Kosovo, Luxembourg, Slovakia, Slovenia and Türkiye. Discussions covered global, European and regional economic outlooks, the review of programme design and conditionality policy in IMF assistance programmes, and the World Bank’s future strategic directions. Opening remarks were delivered by Žumer, Slovenian Minister of Finance Klemen Boštjančič and IMF Deputy Managing Director Bo Li.
