The Central Bank of Poland published June 2026 money supply data showing that the M3 aggregate increased by PLN 38.5bn month on month to PLN 2,890.8bn at the end of June. The rise was driven mainly by higher deposits and other claims held by households, non-financial corporations and other financial institutions, alongside a sharp increase in the value of repurchase agreements. Within M3, deposits and other claims of households rose by PLN 11.8bn, or 0.8%, to PLN 1,513.2bn. Those of non-financial corporations increased by PLN 9.8bn, or 1.7%, to PLN 596.8bn, while those of other financial institutions rose by PLN 8.1bn, or 10.1%, to PLN 88.2bn. Repurchase agreements increased by PLN 8.5bn, or 86.0%, to PLN 18.3bn. On the counterparts side, debt of other financial institutions rose by PLN 13.8bn to PLN 250.0bn, household debt increased by PLN 6.1bn to PLN 861.5bn, and non-financial corporation debt rose by PLN 1.1bn to PLN 485.6bn. Net debt of central government entities fell by PLN 19.1bn, or 3.1%, to PLN 602.7bn.
