The Angola Insurance Authority announced a cooperation protocol with the Independent University of Angola aimed at adding insurance and regulatory content to academic programs and promoting joint training and research. The arrangement is framed as part of efforts to strengthen financial literacy in the insurance sector and to connect higher education more closely with regulatory practice and market challenges in Angola. The partnership provides for the participation of lecturers, researchers and students in technical and scientific activities designed to support applied knowledge production and contribute to the sector’s sustainable development. At the signing, the university’s rector described the Independent University of Angola as the first higher education institution in the country to sign a protocol with the authority.
