The Angola Capital Markets Commission held a workshop for staff of the Gaming Supervision Institute under their cooperation protocol, focused on the fundamentals of the capital market and investment opportunities. The session formed part of the commission's broader awareness and capacity-building program for public and private institutions with which it has cooperation agreements. The workshop outlined the commission's role in regulating, supervising, inspecting and promoting Angola's capital market. It also covered available financial instruments, ways to participate in the market, and the use of portfolio diversification to manage risk and build savings. A question-and-answer session allowed participants to explore capital markets issues in more depth and discuss the financial system's contribution to sustainable economic development.
