The Angola Capital Markets Commission participated in the International Organization of Securities Commissions’ Growth and Emerging Markets Committee (GEMC) second annual meeting in Malta and delivered a presentation on Angola’s “100-day plan for 2025” and measures intended to facilitate investment initiatives in the country. The GEMC meeting ran from 18 to 20 November 2025 and focused on improving regulation and supervision, developing modern financial infrastructure, integrating markets into the global economy and promoting investment-friendly environments. The CMC, a GEMC member since 2014, attended through Executive Administrator Vasco Januário and the Director of the Cooperation Office, Zenea Leitão, and positioned the engagement as a way to deepen international dialogue and identify further technical cooperation opportunities.
