The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Crypto Task Force has announced four additional roundtables in its ongoing series on crypto asset regulation, setting out dates and themes spanning trading, custody, tokenization and decentralized finance. The sessions are scheduled for 11 April 2025 (tailoring regulation for crypto trading), 25 April 2025 (key considerations for crypto custody), 12 May 2025 (tokenization and bringing assets onchain where traditional finance and DeFi meet), and 6 June 2025 (DeFi). Each roundtable will be open to the public at SEC headquarters and streamed live on SEC.gov, with recordings to be posted afterwards; agendas and speakers will be published as they become available.
