The Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan held separate talks with Hanwha Life and Presight AI on expanding foreign participation and developing tokenization, digital financial assets and other financial technologies. The discussions complement the agency’s broader work to modernize Kazakhstan’s capital market and establish a unified framework for securities, derivatives and digital financial assets. Chair Madina Abylkassymova and Hanwha Life representatives discussed the Korean insurer’s potential expansion in Kazakhstan and long-term cooperation on financial technology and digital instruments, drawing on its experience in tokenization and digital services. Talks with Presight AI focused on how these technologies could broaden investment products, improve transaction efficiency and strengthen risk management. The agency emphasized that further regulatory development must support transparency and stronger consumer protection as digital innovation is introduced.
