The Central Bank of Slovenia has reported on the first results of the Bodi FIN project, run with the Ministry of Finance to strengthen financial literacy among primary school students. The initiative engaged more than 3,000 pupils in grades four to nine and concluded with a nationwide competition testing financial knowledge through the lens of personal financial security. Around 3,000 students from 85 primary schools participated, with mentors provided exercises and additional support through in-school workshops delivered by central bank staff. The final competition was held during Global Money Week, with 1,200 students taking part and 92 receiving gold awards. Participants have been invited to a closing ceremony at the Central Bank of Slovenia on 18 April, with attendance expected from Finance Minister Klemen Boštjančič and Acting Governor Primož Dolenc.
