Three other private pawnbroking companies previously received nationwide approval, while several further applications remain under review. Industry lending reached IDR 160.78 trillion in July 2026, up 50.73% year over year, with pawn products accounting for IDR 136.39 trillion, or 84.43% of the total. Industry funding rose 65.71% to IDR 126.93 trillion, comprising IDR 111.46 trillion in borrowings and IDR 15.47 trillion in issued securities.
