The Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority participated in the launch of the 2026 Rufiji Community Policing Cup, using the event to promote public awareness of insurance and road safety. Inspector General of Police Camillus Wambura launched the competition in Rufiji district on Sept. 3 as part of police efforts to strengthen community relations through sport. The authority’s Eastern Zone, covering Dar es Salaam, Morogoro and Pwani, represented it at the event. It also sponsored the competition by providing sports jerseys and highlighted safe road use and precautions to reduce accidents.
