Rwanda Capital Markets Authority (CMA) joined the Ministry of Public Service and Labour in a forum with workers’ unions and employers’ associations to promote saving and investment as a basis for financial security and national development, with a focus on investment opportunities available through Rwanda’s capital markets. At the event, the Minister of Public Service and Labour encouraged workers to take greater ownership of their financial well-being. CMA’s Corporate Communications and Education Manager highlighted accessible investment options across income levels, while the Chairman of the COTRAF Trade Union emphasised long-term financial planning beyond salary considerations. CMA and licensed stockbrokers supported participants by helping them open Central Securities Depository (CSD) accounts to enable investment in the capital market.
