The Federal Housing Finance Agency published its seasonally adjusted monthly House Price Index showing US house prices increased 0.4 percent in October and were up 1.7 percent from October 2024 to October 2025. The previously reported 0.0 percent change for September was revised to a 0.1 percent decline. Across the nine census divisions, seasonally adjusted monthly price changes ranged from a 0.4 percent decline in the East South Central division to a 1.0 percent increase in the West South Central division. Twelve-month changes ranged from a 0.7 percent decline in the West South Central division to a 5.3 percent increase in the Middle Atlantic division. The next House Price Index report is scheduled for January 27, 2026 and will include monthly data through November 2025.
