The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina has transferred two special vehicles for use by the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina, positioning the handover as support for safer and more efficient cash transportation. The vehicles were provided under an agreement under which the central bank supplies the Directorate with material and technical resources, including vehicles and certain equipment needed to ensure the transport of cash. During the related meeting, the Directorate presented capacity-building work and strategic plan activities focused on strengthening communication, coordination and cooperation with domestic police bodies and international partners, while the central bank linked the cooperation to strengthening the country’s security-sector capacities and protection of key resources.
