The National Bank of Moldova has announced the start of work on a draft decision to amend the instruction governing how banks prepare and submit primary reports used to identify and supervise credit risk. The update is tied to the approval of the regulation on responsible lending to consumers and also reflects recommendations from International Monetary Fund and World Bank experts made under the Financial Sector Assessment Program. The draft will revise certain indicators in the form "ORD 3.17 Daily report on the loan portfolio granted and credit commitments assumed," including their names and completion method. It will also clarify how some report indicators should be completed and add new data fields, including "Basis of RCG," "Basis of RSDV," "Borrower occupation" and "Borrower main source of income." The measure is intended for banks in the Republic of Moldova.
