At the CFO Summit Cronista 2026, Argentina Securities Commission Chair Roberto E. Silva said the regulator is working on an omnibus bill to amend various capital markets laws. The initiative forms part of the CNV’s broader program to modernize and simplify the regulatory framework while maintaining transparency and disclosure. Silva also reviewed the existing “Big Bang” framework, under which companies can choose when to issue securities and then comply with the full disclosure regime. He said the CNV is reassessing its rules to remove unnecessary barriers and streamline requirements. Other measures seek to channel funds into the financial system through Labor Assistance Funds and broaden investor access through exchange traded funds, including funds that replicate the Merval index.
