The Montenegro Capital Market Authority hosted a delegation from the Securities Commission of Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina for talks focused on strengthening future cooperation, sharing regulatory experience and good practices, and exploring joint initiatives to support the development and stability of regional capital markets. The meeting brought together Brčko District Securities Commission members Pero Gudeljević and Muamer Ahmetspahić with the President of the Montenegro Capital Market Authority, Željko Drinčić. The release noted that the Brčko District body is an independent regulator responsible for the issuance, public offering and trading of securities, and supervision of investment funds and management companies, and reiterated the Montenegro authority’s view that strong bilateral ties with regional regulators underpin more effective supervision, greater market transparency and more successful regulatory processes.
