The State Bank of Pakistan published its monthly workers’ remittances data, reporting inflows of USD 3.6 billion in December 2025. Remittances rose by 16.5 percent year on year and 12.6 percent month on month. Cumulatively, workers’ remittances totalled USD 19.7 billion in the first half of fiscal year 2026 (H1FY26), up 10.6 percent from USD 17.8 billion in the same period a year earlier. The main sources of remittances in December were Saudi Arabia (USD 813.1 million), the United Arab Emirates (USD 726.1 million), the United Kingdom (USD 559.7 million) and the United States (USD 301.7 million).
