The Central Bank of Solomon Islands, working with Tebbutt Research, will conduct its second Financial Services National Demand Side Survey from September to October 2026. The nationally representative survey of about 992 adults will assess access to, use of, quality of and satisfaction with financial products and services across rural, urban and maritime areas. The findings will help evaluate the 2021-2025 National Financial Inclusion Strategy 3, identify gaps in financial service provision and inform targets and action plans for the country’s next financial inclusion strategy. The survey will also assess consumer readiness and demand for climate-related financial products, complementing the central bank’s financial inclusion work in areas such as parametric insurance. Results are expected by the end of 2026.
