The Albania Financial Services Authority’s Board adopted a package of licensing and governance decisions across the private pension funds, collective investment and insurance sectors. The measures mainly confirm the suitability of key pension fund managers and depositary activities against Law No. 76/2023 on private pension funds and its implementing regulations, and expand one bank’s depositary licence to cover alternative investment funds. Suitability approvals covered Credins Invest and its voluntary pension fund Credins Pension, Sigal Uniqa Invest and the open participation private pension funds Sigal and Sigal Pro, as well as the depositary activities of Banka Credins and Banka Kombëtare Tregtare. Banka Credins was also licensed as a depositary for alternative investment funds. Separately, the Board approved governance reappointments for the chair and a member of SiCRED’s Supervisory Council, reappointments of members of Raiffeisen INVEST’s Board of Administration, and appointments and reappointments of ALL-SIG Broker’s Supervisory Council members alongside the reappointment of its administrator.
