Bank of Indonesia reported that broad money, or M2, continued to expand in June 2026, reaching IDR 10,432.8 trillion. Annual growth slowed to 8.7% from 10.8% in May, with the aggregate still supported by growth in narrow money, or M1, of 9.8% and quasi-money of 6.9%. The June M2 outcome was shaped mainly by disbursed loans and net claims on the central government. Disbursed loans grew 12.1% year on year, accelerating from 10.8% in May, while net claims on the central government increased 10.1%, down from 37.4% in the previous month.
