The Albania Financial Services Authority published the agenda for its Board meeting on 27 November 2025, which will consider approval of the Authority’s 2026 budget and its 2026–2028 medium-term budget forecast, alongside a set of supervisory, licensing and governance decisions affecting insurance, investment and actuarial activities. The agenda includes a thematic inspection involving SHAFP and SIK “Credins Invest” sh.a., approval of an audit firm to audit the Albanian Insurance Bureau’s financial statements for the year ending 31 December 2025, and proposed approvals for an insurance company expansion and several corporate changes. These include extending “Atlantik - Insurance Company” sh.a. into additional insurance classes, approving amendments to “Ansig” sh.a.’s statute linked to a capital increase and shareholder structure change, and the reappointment of Ansig’s executive director, as well as an administrator appointment at “Vienna Life Insurance-Vienna Sigurim Jetë” sh.a. and the reappointment of IFIS Broker sh.a.’s administrator and management board members. Other items include renewal of authorised actuaries’ licences, withdrawal at the request of OTP Bank Albania sh.a. of its licence to operate as a non-life insurance agent, and a separate proposal to approve the exercise of insurance agent activity.
