The Central Bank of Russia and the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus held the 64th meeting of their Interbank Currency Council, continuing regular coordination between the two central banks. The meeting focused on further cooperation under the Union State Treaty for 2027–2029. Participants also reviewed current financial market conditions and cooperation between the countries’ banking and payment systems. Bank of Russia Governor Elvira Nabiullina and National Bank of the Republic of Belarus Board Chairman Roman Golovchenko attended the meeting in the Republic of Altai.
