The Seychelles Financial Services Authority has issued a scam alert warning that misleading messages are circulating from the email address contact@fsa-seychelles.com, which falsely purports to be an official FSA email. The authority urged licensees, investors and the wider public to exercise extreme caution, and recommended not responding to the emails or accessing any email addresses or hyperlinks contained in correspondence from that address. It also stated it will not be held responsible for consequences arising if persons choose to engage with, maintain client relationships with, or use services emanating from contact@fsa-seychelles.com.
