The Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia’s Director General, Sou Socheat, presided over the closing ceremony of the CFA Institute Research Challenge Season 8 (2025–2026) and used the event to underscore the role of the initiative in building human capital for Cambodia’s securities sector. He framed the challenge as providing practical knowledge, hands-on experience, professional networking and exposure to real-world financial analysis. The event was organised by the Cambodia Community of Investment Professionals at TRIBE Hotel Phnom Penh and involved four student teams from the American University of Phnom Penh, CamEd Business School, the International College of the National University of Management and Paragon International University.
