The Central Bank of Jordan has opened applications for 24 scholarships tied to future appointment, allocated as two scholarships for each governorate, for outstanding high school students to pursue bachelor’s degrees in economics, cybersecurity, accounting or finance at Jordanian public universities starting in the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Eligibility conditions include Jordanian nationality, graduation from the Jordanian General Secondary School scientific stream with an average of at least 95% (or equivalent for foreign high school certificates issued inside Jordan for the same year), having spent the last two years of study at a school in the same governorate, being no older than 19 on 10 August 2025, having no conviction for offences involving honour, honesty or public morals (including issuing a cheque without balance), and not holding another scholarship or delegation. Applicants must also provide proof of unconditional acceptance into the regular (not parallel) programme at the receiving institution, and applications are subject to the terms and conditions on the Central Bank’s website, including its policy regulating employment relationships between relatives. Applications must be submitted online via the Central Bank of Jordan website between the morning of 10 August 2025 and 4 pm on 21 August 2025.
