The Angola Insurance Authority (ARSEG) published its complaints management report for the first half of 2026, recording 350 complaints. Of these, 318 concerned insurance companies and 32 related to pension fund entities and management companies. Insurance complaints primarily involved contractual noncompliance and delays in settling claims, while pension fund complaints centered on delayed benefit payments. Poor communication was a concern across both segments. The report also includes qualitative service indicators to inform ARSEG’s supervision and efforts to improve consumer service.
