The Portuguese Securities Commission (CMVM), together with Banco de Portugal and the Insurance and Pension Funds Supervisory Authority, launched the seventh edition of Portugal FinLab, opening a new intake for projects to be presented to the financial regulators for review and discussion. Applications are open until 13 February. Selected applicants for the pitch day will be notified by 2 March and will present their projects to the regulators on 17 and 18 March 2026. Up to five projects will be chosen for analysis, with selections to be announced on 13 April; participants will receive an analysis report and may meet with the regulators to discuss the findings and clarify questions.
