The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario announced four new appointments to its Mortgage Brokering Technical Advisory Committee, which provides subject matter advice to support FSRA’s policy development and decision-making. Athena Constantinou (Sherwood Mortgage Group), Mehmet (Deren) Hasip (Mortgage Scout and Private Partners Capital), Richard Coleman (Sequence Capital) and Elizabeth Wood (CMI Financial Group) will serve three-year terms spanning 2025–2027, following a public call for members and selection based on experience and qualifications. FSRA also acknowledged outgoing members David Morrison, Elizabeth Gnoinski, Guido Di Franco and Kevin Fettig. The committee’s next meeting is scheduled for February 26, 2025, and FSRA directed stakeholders to the committee’s Terms of Reference for details on its mandate and selection criteria.
