The Czech National Bank appointed Denisa Jindřichová as deputy executive director of the Cash and Payments Department, responsible for the Cash Circulation and Payment Media Protection Division, effective Oct. 1, 2026. The Bank Board also opened a selection process for executive director of the department. Jindřichová replaced Jan Mayer, who left the central bank on Sept. 30, 2026. The search for a new department head comes as Executive Director Ladislav Kročák prepares to leave his managerial role at the turn of 2026 and 2027 upon retirement.

The Czech National Bank appointed Denisa Jindřichová as deputy executive director of the Cash and Payments Department, effective Oct. 1, 2026. It also opened a search for a department head ahead of Executive Director Ladislav Kročák’s retirement at the turn of 2026 and 2027.
