Norway's Ministry of Finance has appointed Susanne Munch Thore as the new chair of the Financial Supervisory Complaints Board with effect from 1 September 2026. It has also appointed Linda Brennbakk, Mirella Elisa Grant and Eyvinn Rudjord Helgevold as new board members from 1 June 2026. The board is an independent appeals body that reviews complaints against individual decisions made by the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway. Thore is a lawyer and currently a senior lecturer at the BI Norwegian Business School's Department of Law and Governance, with prior experience as a lawyer at Wikborg Rein and Arntzen de Besche. Deputy chair Morten Kinander has been acting as chair since 9 February 2026 and will continue in that role until 1 September 2026, while Jens Christian Werring-Westly will serve as acting deputy chair until the same date. Following the appointments, Kinander will serve as deputy chair, and existing member Trude Myklebust is due to leave the board on 30 June 2026. The board was established on 1 April 2025, when the new Financial Supervision Act entered into force.
