Oman's Ministry of Finance participated by videoconference in the 2026 annual joint meetings of Arab financial institutions. The discussions focused on challenges facing the global economy amid geopolitical pressures and on the role of Arab financial institutions in supporting growth, financial and economic stability, and sustainable development goals across the Arab region. The agenda included meetings of the Board of Governors of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, the Board of Shareholders of the Arab Investment and Export Credit Guarantee Corporation, the Board of Governors of the Arab Monetary Fund, the Board of Governors of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa, the Board of Governors of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development, and the Supervisory Board of the Bader Fund for small and medium enterprise development. Oman was represented by Minister of Finance Sultan bin Salem Al Habsi, attended by Central Bank of Oman Governor Ahmed bin Jaafar Al Musalmi and other officials.
