The Insurance Commission of the Bahamas reported that Superintendent of Insurance Dana Munnings-Gray and Rodney D. Bain, Manager of Communications, Business Intelligence and Consumer Awareness, represented the Commission at the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) FinTech Forum in Amsterdam, hosted at De Nederlandsche Bank. The two-day hybrid forum convened over 60 insurance supervisors to examine the impact of digital innovation and artificial intelligence on insurance supervision and markets, including the use of SupTech tools to enhance supervisory reporting and discussions on agentic AI and its implications for emerging markets. The update also acknowledged Petra Hielkema, Chair of the IAIS FinTech Forum and Chairperson of the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority, and Onur Can Koltukcu and the De Nederlandsche Bank team as hosts.
