The Egypt Financial Regulatory Authority renewed the registration of three financial consultancy firms in its register of financial advisers, allowing them to continue carrying out financial valuations and preparing fair value studies in line with Egyptian standards for business valuation. The renewals cover Zeila Financial Consultancy for Securities, RSM Financial Consultancy and Premier Financial Consultancy and apply for three years from the decision dated 27 May 2025. The register, established under FRA Board decision No. 114/2018 (as amended), applies to firms and other authorised entities that conduct valuation and fair value studies in cases required by the Capital Market Law and its executive regulations, with around 57 firms and entities currently listed. Registration conditions include being licensed to perform the activity, maintaining professional risk insurance (with an exemption for foreign entities that already hold equivalent cover), ring-fencing the activity with separate accounts, and meeting experience and professional competence requirements; foreign entities must also be supervised by a regulator equivalent to the FRA or the Central Bank of Egypt. Additional board membership requirements apply depending on whether the entity has securities listed on the Egyptian Exchange, under FRA Board decisions No. 82/2018 or No. 85/2018.
