The Central Bank of Luxembourg published provisional interest-rate data for June 2026 showing increases in variable household mortgage rates, consumer credit rates and short-term deposit rates. The variable mortgage rate rose 9 basis points from May to 3.19%, while new lending increased by EUR 83 million to EUR 295 million. Household term deposits with maturities of up to one year gained 22 basis points to 1.82%, and consumer credit with an initial fixed period of more than one and up to five years rose 4 basis points to 5.08%. For nonfinancial corporations, the variable rate on loans exceeding EUR 1 million climbed 50 basis points to 2.89%, as new lending increased by EUR 766 million to EUR 3.06 billion. The rate on loans of up to EUR 1 million edged down 1 basis point to 3.55%, with volumes rising to EUR 131 million. Corporate term deposits with maturities of up to one year rose 17 basis points to 2.18%.
