The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan held the next meeting of the Macroeconomic Resilience Working Group established under a Cabinet of Ministers order to coordinate implementation of the 2022–2026 Socio-Economic Development Strategy, with a focus on the strategy goal of resilience to internal and external impacts. The meeting reviewed progress in the first half of 2025 and set follow-up actions to support effective delivery of the relevant measures. Representatives attended from the Central Bank, the Center for Analysis and Communication of Economic Reforms, and the Ministries of Economy, Finance, Labour and Social Protection of Population, and Justice, as well as the Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund, the Deposit Insurance Fund, and the Agricultural Insurance Fund. The working group’s chair, First Deputy Governor Aliyar Mammadyarov, outlined results achieved under the resilience goal, while deputy chair Ayaz Museyibov presented detailed updates on work completed and outcomes in the first half of 2025. Discussions covered monitoring and evaluation results for 15 approved measures across three activity areas and considered ways to increase the effectiveness of implementation.
