The Central Bank of Latvia has decided to grant AS Sincera Insurance non-life insurance licences for land vehicles (other than railway rolling stock) insurance and miscellaneous financial loss insurance. Following its review of the submitted documentation, the regulator concluded that AS Sincera Insurance meets the licensing requirements set out in Section 21(1) of the Insurance and Reinsurance Law. The authorisation brings the number of licensed non-life insurance companies operating in Latvia to five, as reflected in the regulator’s market participants database.
