The State Bank of Vietnam convened the third conference of its Party Committee Executive Committee for the 2025–2030 term to review Party work in Q1 2026 and advance a set of draft documents intended to translate higher-level Party resolutions into the banking sector’s programme of work. The meeting, chaired by Governor Nguyễn Thị Hồng in her capacity as Party Committee Secretary, considered drafts covering: the Q1 2026 leadership and direction report and Q2 2026 priorities; an action programme to implement the 14th National Party Congress resolution and the Government Party Congress resolution for 2025–2030; and a plan to implement the Politburo’s Resolution 79-NQ/TW on developing the state-owned economy. Executive Committee members broadly agreed with the drafts and provided comments, with instructions for the drafting teams to incorporate feedback, seek additional input from Executive Committee members, and for the Party Committee Office to coordinate a review to ensure consistency and alignment between the SBV Party Committee’s 2025–2030 action programme and the higher-level action programme.
