Brazil’s Securities Commission (CVM) launched a public survey on its data-opening process to support the development of the authority’s 2026–2028 Open Data Plan and to help prioritise which datasets should feed the CVM Open Data Portal. The questionnaire is available until 1 December, and responses will be treated as confidential. In addition to asking respondents to prioritise datasets, the survey seeks to map how often and by whom CVM information is accessed and invites suggestions, criticisms and comments. The Open Data Plan sets the framework for opening, maintaining and monitoring CVM datasets and for promoting their use, including facilitating public access to information and enabling data exchange with other public-sector bodies.
