OICConnect also provides other insurance-related information and tools, including agent and broker licence status, insurer information, voluntary motor insurance claim history, general enquiries via chatbot, access to other Office of Insurance Commission services, and information on tax benefits linked to insurance products. Access is via adding @OICConnect on LINE, completing identity verification registration, and selecting the “OIC Insurance Knowledge” menu, with the Office of Insurance Commission noting that the platform has been developed in line with specified data security standards.
