The Indonesia Financial Services Authority has imposed 1,277 administrative sanctions, prohibitions and written orders so far in 2026 for breaches of capital markets regulations and reporting requirements. The measures apply to issuers, public companies, securities firms, directors, commissioners, shareholders, capital markets supporting professionals and other related parties. For substantive regulatory breaches, the authority issued 93 sanctions, prohibitions or written orders, including fines totaling IDR 73.99 billion, eight written warnings, five written orders, 10 prohibitions and six license suspensions. The violations covered public offering proceeds and allocations, financial statements and audits, share buybacks, affiliated and material transactions, conflicts of interest, disclosure, shareholder meetings and issuer governance. It also imposed 1,184 sanctions for late reporting, comprising fines totaling IDR 253.07 billion and 304 written warnings, with periodic reporting delays accounting for 876 sanctions.
