The Central Bank of the Philippines notified authorized agent banks and their subsidiary or affiliate foreign exchange corporations that Bangko Sentral Registration Document No. A002104-D, dated Oct. 18, 2019 and covering Nippon Steel Trading Corporation of Japan's foreign direct investment in 900,000 common shares of PNS Advanced Steel Technology Inc. doing business as PNS-ASTECH, has been reported lost, has been applied for replacement, and must not be honored if found and presented for the purchase of foreign exchange for capital repatriation or remittance of earnings under Section 38 of the Manual of Regulations on Foreign Exchange Transactions, as amended.

Banks and related foreign exchange corporations must not honor the lost document if it is presented for foreign exchange purchases tied to capital repatriation or earnings remittances.
