Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Finance held a board meeting to review implementation of the 2025 republican budget and to outline the main goals for 2026. The session was attended by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration, A. Kasymaliev. Finance Minister A. Baketayev reported on 2025 budget execution, economic growth and the stability of the financial sector, while deputy ministers presented findings and plans in their areas of financial management and investment policy. The board attributed last year’s achievements to systematic, digitised budget management and set 2026 priorities around sustainable public finance development, support for social and economic priorities, and more effective use of budget resources. Participants agreed to work jointly to deliver the stated goals.
