The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan held a four-day training programme at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) on “Financial technologies and digital transformation” as part of its initiatives to raise financial literacy in higher education. The programme involved more than 30 students and covered data-driven economic management, digital financial products, cybersecurity in the financial sector, and payment systems and innovations. Delivered by Central Bank representatives, the sessions combined theoretical content with practical guidance and introduced participants to fintech developments and global financial trends, with certificates awarded to those who successfully completed the course.
