Peru's Superintendency of the Securities Market (SMV) published a notice updating the minimum share capital requirement for companies that administer financial participatory financing (financial crowdfunding) platforms for the 2025 financial year. Under the sector rules, platform administrator companies must maintain minimum share capital that is fully subscribed and paid in cash, updated annually based on the national wholesale price index published by the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics. The updated minimum for 2025 is PEN 352,127.37, and platform administrators must also maintain net worth at or above this amount in line with the percentages and timeframes set out in the regulation.
