The Hong Kong Monetary Authority has published analytical data on the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region’s foreign currency reserves and foreign currency liquidity as at the end of February 2026. The figures are released monthly through the Template on International Reserves and Foreign Currency Liquidity in line with the International Monetary Fund’s Special Data Dissemination Standard (SDDS). The HKMA noted that it issues four Exchange Fund data press releases each month, including three SDDS monetary data releases and a separate release on the Exchange Fund’s Abridged Balance Sheet and Currency Board Account under its transparency policy. For March 2026, the SDDS international reserves release was issued on 6 March, the SDDS analytical accounts of the central bank release was issued on 13 March, and both the SDDS template and the Exchange Fund abridged balance sheet and currency board account releases were scheduled for 31 March.
