The Malaysia Securities Commission has announced it will host the ASEAN Investment Conference 2025 in Kuala Lumpur on 8–9 April 2025, positioning the event as a platform to connect capital and support regional investment opportunities under Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship priorities. Held in collaboration with AFFIN Group, CGS International Securities Malaysia and RHB Banking Group, the conference will run under the theme “Connecting Capital, Unlocking Opportunities and Driving Sustainability” and is expected to convene around 400 policymakers, investors, financiers and business leaders from across ASEAN and the ASEAN+3 region. The Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, will inaugurate the conference and launch the ASEAN Simplified ESG Disclosure Guide for SMEs in Supply Chains. Planned discussions cover digital transformation, sustainable finance, infrastructure development and capital market opportunities, including panels on policy frameworks, investment strategies, regulatory reforms and best practices.
